Summary of Patrol
This was the third patrol of the 2021/2022 year. The patrol took place the first week of December 2021 and there were 3 incidents.
Weather seen at time of patrol
During the patrol dates, the weather was blustery with intermittent snow.
General comments
Approximately 30 trees had fallen across Point Clark due to high winds December 6 and 7. With the exception of the incident reports, the remaining trees were not on properties we patrol or did not damage any structures.
Incidents
It should be noted that for every incident, the patrollers identify the issue as best they can, take pictures, contact the owners, and, if requested, sends photos to the owners. All of the information is kept/saved both by the patroller and by the Association.
Three incidents.
Incident #4 — Victoria Road
A tree fell onto a boat stored on the property. The boat was damaged. The patroller contacted the owner by phone.
Incident #5 — Victoria Road
A very small tree (small branches) fell and is leaning on te house. No damage to the structures. The patroller contacted the owner by email.
Incident #6 — Wilson Avenue
A tree fell and is leaning on the cottage. We received a call from someone walking by Dec 6th of a fallen tree leaning on the cottage. Some damage to the structure is possible. The patroller contacted the owner by phone. The patroller also went back on the 7th to re-review.
