Summary of Patrol
This was the seventh patrol of the 2021/2022 year. This patrol took place mid to late January and there was 1 incident.
Weather seen at time of patrol
The weather at patrol time was very cold. Some strong winds, flurries, but definitely cold.
Snow squall warnings and other weather warnings were in place Jan 24 and Jan 25. We received significant snowfall in the area over this past week. The patrols were scheduled to follow these conditions. All of Cedar Trail is completely inaccessible by vechicle due to 5 ft high snow dunes. Patroller was able to patrol cottages on foot. Two trees fell across Wilson Ave. Emergency crews were already on-site at the time of the patrol. Fallen trees were not on the properties that are patrolled. Two trees leaning over Sunrise Ave. If excessive snow persists, then the road could be potentially blocked. No potential damage to the properties that are patrolled.
It should be noted that for every incident, the patrollers identify the issue as best they can, take pictures, contact the owners, and, if requested, sends photos to the owners. All of the information is kept/saved both by the patroller and by the Association.
Incident #11 — Huron Road
More damage on a carport was identified, owner contacted. They were aware of issues, but found it helpful knowing of the additional damage.
