General comments
After the large blizzard that took place December 23 through 25, a lot of trees have fallen across Point Clark. Hydro One has been active in the area to remove trees on wires. A large portion of Point Clark was out of power for approximately 24 hrs December 23 and 24.
A lot of smaller cottages, which have appeared to be winterized, have ice/frost building up in the windows. If cottages are not winterized, there could be a risk of freezing plumbing inside the cottages due to the power outage. Please contact us if you have concerns about frozen plumbing for non winterized cottages.
Five incidents were seen with this patrol (outlined below).
Also, 3 courtesy emails or calls were made for:
(1) strange sound from inside cottage,
(2) small/medium fallen tree on property, and
(3) fallen tree resting on the eavestrough of the garage.
