Winter Patrol 2024/2025
Summary of Patrol #3
Point Clark experienced quite a large snow storm with snow squalls and blizzard throughout the week of Dec. 9th – 12th. The patrol was completed Dec. 14 and 15th to follow up from the storm. Trees that fell on roads were cleaned up. Two Courtesy emails were sent to homeowners (for mild incidents) and two Incidents were reported (actual or potential damage to structures).
Weather seen at time of patrol
The weather during the patrol was a combination of sunny, windy and rainy. Certainly the weather seen was much better than previously experienced blizzard.
General comments
Incidents
It should be noted that for every incident, the patrollers identify the issue as best they can, take pictures, contact the owners, and, if requested, sends photos to the owners. All of the information is kept/saved both by the patroller and by the Association.
Incident #1
Victoria Road — a large tree fell on property and resting in front of their sauna. No obvious damage was noted. Homeowner was contacted with pictures.
Incident #2
Spruce Cres — A strip of siding has fallen off the cottage. Homeowner was notified.
