The Lake Huron Fishing Club is a conservation based Sports Club founded in 1983 by a dedicated group of anglers on the Ontario shore of Lake Huron. Their work includes stream enhancements, environmental improvements, education, assisting government agencies on assessment, enforcement, etc.

The Great Lakes Sport Fishing Council is a confederation of organizations and individuals who share a concern for the present and future of sport fishing, our natural and stocked resources and the ecosystem in which we live.
Great Lakes Fishery Commission
The commission coordinates fisheries research controls the invasive sea lamprey, and facilitates cooperative fishery management among the state, provincial, tribal, and federal agencies.
