The area we live is a two tier system with both a County level of government and our township government (see Huron Kinloss above). The County has an extensive website that provides links to the services provided at the County level.
Public Health – Grey Bruce
This website has a wide variety of information that is of importance in the area of public health. Beaches in Grey and Bruce County have a history of being safe. However, water quality can change from day to day or even hour to hour depending on the weather and other conditions. Check the website for additional insight.

Pine River Boat Club
The purpose of the Club is, as a co-operative, to create an environment for safe, convenient and timely access to and from the Pine River and Lake Huron.
LAKE HURON FOCUSED
Lake Huron Centre for Coastal Conservation
The Lake Huron Centre for Coastal Conservation is a non-government charitable organization established in 1998 with the goals of protecting and restoring Lake Huron’s coastal environment, and supporting a healthy coastal ecosystem through education, restoration, and research projects.”
Lake Huron Fishing Club
The Lake Huron Fishing Club is a conservation based Sports Club founded in 1983 by a dedicated group of anglers on the Ontario shore of Lake Huron. Their work includes stream enhancements, environmental improvements, education, assisting government agencies on assessment, enforcement, etc.
The Pine River River Watershed Initiative Network
The Pine River River Watershed Initiative Network (PRWIN) is a group of volunteers and two part time employees active in finding concrete solutions to improve the watershed one idea at a time. Its vision is “Clean water and a healthy ecosystem within the Pine River Watershed”.
